Love Taylors Day

On April 1st, hundreds of Taylors First Baptist Church volunteers came together for Love Taylors Day. Despite the rainy weather, a specific team focused on the clean-up efforts at the future Chick Springs Park, and the results were nothing short of incredible.

The volunteers created a path along the creek at Chick Springs, clearing a trail in just one day. They also removed fallen trees and debris, removing blockages in Lick Creek and ensuring a safe and beautiful environment. Other volunteers gave the rest of the grounds a spring cleaning. They tidied up the park area and exterior of the well-house, preparing for the upcoming mowing season.

Benj Buck from Buck Outdoors Stormwater Solutions helped clear debris from a future parking area, making it usable and functional. Meanwhile, other volunteers pumped out the mud from the well house and cleared accumulated debris, leaving the space clean and fresh.

Taylors TownSquare greatly appreciates Taylors First Baptist Church's support, specifically Kathy Dority and Shianne Bujtor, for their assistance in organizing the event and connecting resources to make our clean-up successful. We would also like to thank Taylors TownSquare board members Mike Iatesta and Todd Bennett for leading the efforts at the property.

We cannot express our thanks to all who volunteered on Love Taylors Day. Your hard work and dedication, even in challenging weather conditions, made a lasting impact on our community. We're already looking forward to the next Love Taylors Day.
