A multi-million-dollar renovation completed in 2020 brought new locker rooms, an expanded lobby, new flooring and ceiling, and additional office space—upgrades that now make the facility one of the most complete recreation centers in the Upstate. Outside, a new paved walking trail replaced the former miniature train tracks, creating a safe, scenic loop for walkers, runners, and families to enjoy year-round.
